The worldwide explosion in smart phone use has resulted in significant amounts of additional data being stored on mobile phones. Recognizing this opportunity, Simchronise Limited has built a technology platform ( PhoneBackup ) that backs up, synchronises, and restores data from customer’s handsets into the ‘cloud’. This data synchronization and restore platform works across all handsets, and all operating systems, globally, and transfers data and content either over the mobile network, or over Wi-Fi to unique and secure username and password protected accounts, where users can manage and share their data and content.

As a founder of Simchronise, David drives the vision and has formulated all the commercial and technical strategies that have defined the success to date. Prior to joining Simchronise full time in November 2008, David has spent the previous 5 years working in the mobile phone industry including as Chief Operating Officer, YQ International Limited.
An early stage investor in Simchronise, Declan joined the Board in July 2009 bringing with him over 16 years’ experience in the Telecommunications Industry having enjoyed a particularly successful career including working as a Telecommunications Project Consultant for IRL Services Company Threefold, and having previously held various senior positions in Esat Digifone from launch to sale.
Bachelor Commerce Hons, UCD, Paul joined the Board in October 2010 with specific responsibility for the strategic direction of the company, commercially and financially. Paul’s career to date includes the establishing, growth and sale of two technology companies (Era-Maptec and Eason Electronic), and has since built prepaid mobile phone and prepaid electricity operations in Algeria and South Africa. Prior to this, Paul worked for the IDA, in Ireland and the USA for over 5 years advising clients in growth and acquisition strategies.
Ivan is a result-oriented dynamic person with more than 12 years of sales and marketing experience, specifically accumulating extensive direct account management experience providing hardware and telecom solutions. Before Ivan embarked on his sales career, he spent 8 years as a system engineer building high level networking in companies like Intel, AMP and Shiva. Ivan’s role includes identifying new markets, customers and partners, and has direct responsibility for the formulation and successful implementation of all Sales and Marketing strategies and activities.
